Commentary- Critique:

This magazine has superior paper for cutting and pasting. At first glance, this magazine held a lot of promise for creating some interesting collages. However, I feel somewhat disappointed that my ideas fell short for most of these collages. This is a rather subjective notion regarding what makes a collage successful or not. Most of these collages have some aspects that are appealing, but it is rare to create a collage that works in its entirety. When all the elements fit effortlessly together and the collage vibrates at a higher level. You know instinctively that the collage is working!
